Meet Alejandro Gatti | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alejandro Gatti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alejandro, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Knowing whether to keep going or give up comes down to trusting my gut. The times I’ve pushed through just because I thought I should have usually left me feeling frustrated and stuck. But when I’ve followed that quiet pull — even when it didn’t make perfect sense at the time — it’s almost always led me somewhere better.
Fear and intuition feel different. Fear is loud and chaotic, full of second-guessing and doubt. Intuition is quiet and steady — a calm sense of knowing. When something’s right, even if it’s challenging, there’s a grounded feeling that things are clicking. When it’s wrong, there’s resistance and unease that’s hard to shake. My gut tends to know before my mind catches up, so when I feel that spark of excitement or, on the flip side, that nagging discomfort, I’ve learned to listen. That feeling is usually the answer.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is all about connecting with people through storytelling. Whether it’s film, social media, or music, the medium might change, but the goal is always the same — to create something that feels real and emotionally grounded. I’ve found that the most powerful stories are the ones that genuinely reflect human experiences. Music has always been part of my process — it sets the tone and adds emotional depth to the story, making it more immersive and authentic. That connection between visuals and sound is something I’ve always been passionate about.
Getting to where I am today professionally hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. Moving to Los Angeles to pursue a creative career was a huge leap. The early years were filled with uncertainty and setbacks, but I stayed focused on telling meaningful stories. I was lucky to work with many talented people, including award-winning directors, actors, and musicians, who trusted me and helped me grow and refine my craft. Their influence and collaboration shaped my approach to storytelling and gave me the confidence to take creative risks.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability. The creative industry is constantly changing, and staying open to new ideas and approaches has been key to evolving as an artist. Some of my most rewarding projects have come from unexpected opportunities.
My work is driven by a desire to create a genuine connection. I’ve realized that the most impactful stories come from being true to ourselves. When we’re real, that’s when people connect. For me, it’s also about entertaining — creating work that draws people in and makes them feel something. The freedom to explore and create is a privilege for any artist, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to tell stories that feel true and engaging.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LA has such a cool mix of energy and laid-back vibes. You can start your day with a hike up Runyon Canyon or Griffith Park, soaking in those city views, and then wind down with a sunset at the beach, which honestly never gets old. The food scene here is insane — I’m a big fan of Chulita in Venice for its modern take on Mexican food, and the Venice food trucks are always a win if you want something quick but incredible. There’s something about sitting on the beach with a pizza, watching the sun dip into the ocean, that just hits differently. LA has this effortless mix of nature, food, and culture that makes it feel like home.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The creative community around me — from filmmakers, actors, and musicians to the brands and agencies that trusted me early on — played a massive role in helping me grow.
