Meet Alejandro Hinojosa | Hotelier & Traveler

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alejandro Hinojosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alejandro, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Discipline Consistency
Workout 4 days a week
Clean and keep my house safe and comfortable

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Work hard always pays off. Being professional and willing to learn gave the chance to become a Leader in the Hospitality industry. Was not easy, manage big staff and keep them engaged and motivated is a challenge. But i noticed that everybody wants to be listened. My team fells valued and respected when i pass by and ask about theirs families and when i follow up inquiries or concerns. In the same way they help me to provide great customer service to our guest and clients.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is my home town. There is a place that i love to go for breakfast: Mr Cream Good food, good location in front of a beautiful marina and of course good refill coffee.
After breakfast is a good plan to visit the local Fish Market in la Cruz de Huanacaxtle, where they sell the freshest Seafood in town. Tuna is my favorite. I cook sashimi, ceviche, tarta and tataki. When cooking, I like to drink a Gin Tonic with Lemon twist, Japanese Gin is my favorite.
Is always good to go out and try tacos. A good advise is to stop by where is more people waiting to be attended. Cheers

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Very grateful with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and all the leaders that i have met. Their mentoring was so important for developing many skills, specifically Jose Hernandez, my biggest Coach and Teacher..
