We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander Kussovski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexander, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I live by the principle “always keep going”! Whatever life puts on your way you have to keep pushing because your dream is stronger than any obstacle. I even wrote and acted in a movie called “Keep Going”. It’s about a lad that doesn’t give up and becomes an actor. For me giving up is not an option. There is only one path and it goes up, it’s called success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an actor and a stunt professional from Sofia, Bulgaria. When I was young I used to watch Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies. Those films inspired me to start Taekwondo. I got a black belt and won the Golden Buzzer in Bulgaria’s Got Talent. When I was 15 I liked this girl who was taking acting classes. I decided to follow her and felt in love with the theatre. Not long after I was recommended by my mentor to a stunt coordinator. I started taking stunt and acting classes simultaneously. Couple of months later I was working on set. I graduated high school and came to Los Angles. Here I played Peter in the college play Peter Pan, toured two months as an actor and stuntman for the play “The Thorn”. Acted in a bunch of short movies and reality shows and also stunt coordinated a few student movies. I wouldn’t say it was easy but the love for the craft kept me motivated to keep going. I want the world to see my extraordinary martial arts talent accompanied with truthful acting. I would brand myself as a “good college kid that can turn into badass in an instant”.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love hiking so my friend is definitely coming to the Observatory in Griffith Park. I also like going to the beach, my favourites are Santa Monica and El Matador in Malibu. Los Angeles has a lot of amusement parks as well such as Disney and Universal. We are also watching the Dodgers!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this article to my family because they have always supported me through my journey of becoming an actor.
