We had the good fortune of connecting with alexis Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi alexis, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My book helps both the community and the world by providing advice to college students on how to navigate through college, what to expect, and how to make good decisions. My book is also intended to help high school students, anyone going back to college, parents, and educators. The cover of my book is a vision board for individuals to visually see some of the obstacles they may go through while in college such as stressful study days, partying, walking into the right direction, receiving your cap and gown, etc. I truly believe in the power of visualization; therefore, I provide various writing activities throughout my book that prompts individuals to create their own vision board once they are finish reading my book. I am helping individuals turn their dreams/goals, into reality and pursue finding their purpose, drive, and vision.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood walk of fame, Manhattan Beach for some fun in the sun, I love Mexica food so I would suggest Red O, Javiers, Supermex, Fridas, and La Barca restaurants. I would also advise individuals to go downtown Los Angeles to check out bars, additional restaurants, and to shop!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to my family and friends. I couldn’t have done this without you all!
