Meet Amanda Chase

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Amanda Chase again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Amanda, always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
I’m Amanda Chase, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Substance—a creative consultancy and platform designed for visionary women who want to create a life and business of more. Substance isn’t just a brand; it’s a movement. A space where female founders, creatives, and entrepreneurs come to refine their vision, elevate their presence, and build with both strategy and soul.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to build a platform that empowered women to bring their biggest visions to life. With a BA in Psychology and a background in Visual Communications from FIDM, I began my career in content creation for the fashion industry in NYC. In 2016, I launched ōSHen, a content studio for visionary brands. After seven years of working with founders to shape their creative identities, I evolved ōSHen into Substance—an expansion of my mission to help women build meaningful, aligned businesses through strategic guidance, storytelling, and community.
At Substance, we help visionary female entrepreneurs create businesses and lives that align with their deepest desires. Our mission is to guide women in building a Life of More—one that blends personal fulfillment with professional success. Whether you’re launching something new, scaling your brand, or refining your presence, we provide the guidance, tools, and community to help you grow without sacrificing joy or authenticity.
Through consulting, group coaching, content strategy, and platform growth support, we help women step into their next level with clarity and confidence. Our community, events, and editorial content create a space for like-minded women to connect, learn, and evolve together. Every program we offer is designed to provide personalized guidance—helping you grow your business, expand your influence, and generate sustainable income while staying true to your vision.
Because true success isn’t about doing more—it’s about creating with purpose, alignment, and intention. It’s about embodying a life of substance.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Since we last spoke, things have evolved in such a beautiful and expansive way. This past year has been about deepening the foundation of Substance—not just as a brand, but as a movement for female creative visionaries and founders who are ready to build their businesses and lives with intention, creativity, and alignment.
One of the biggest shifts has been refining how I work with clients. I’ve fully stepped into my role as a strategist and creative partner, guiding female founders through high-level brand positioning, storytelling, and content strategy. My focus has been on working with creative visionaries all over the world—especially in the creative and wellness spaces here in Dallas—helping aligned clients do more of what they love while building businesses that feel expansive, fulfilling, and deeply rooted in purpose.
Beyond my client work, I’ve been focused on creating content for Substance—building out group coaching programs, developing editorial content, expanding the newsletter, and growing the Substance Social Club into a true hub for creative women to connect, learn, and evolve together. Every piece of this work is about helping women step into their next level with clarity, confidence, and alignment.
A major focus has also been bringing a long-held vision to life—Substance Magazine, a biannual print publication that embodies everything Substance stands for: depth, storytelling, creativity, and the pursuit of a Life of More. It’s been an incredible process to create something so tangible and lasting, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
Right now, my energy is on expanding my network here in Dallas, deepening my creative work, and continuing to build Substance with intention, consistency, and passion. This next season is about bringing the vision fully to life—one that helps creative women everywhere do more of what they love and build businesses that truly reflect who they are.

I want people to remember that Substance isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement for creative women building businesses and lives that truly align with who they are. It’s about depth, intention, and creating success on your own terms.
Substance is special because it goes beyond strategy—it’s about alignment. It’s about helping women bring their boldest visions to life while ensuring they feel fulfilled, inspired, and in flow.
This work is deeply personal. I’ve walked this path myself, learning firsthand what it means to be a woman of substance. Now, my mission is to help others do the same—building with intention, creating with purpose, and shaping a life that feels true to you.
