We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenn Salinas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenn, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I’m inspired by the people around me. Our clients have a dream and a gift. It is honestly, my pleasure to promote their gift, and watch their success. It’s very exciting to take this journey with people who trust us.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mosaic PR is a multilayered PR firm specializing in Celebrity Publicity and Campaigns, Awards Campaigns and Publicity, Celebrity, Red Carpet and Charity/Non-Profit Events, Film/Theatre/Television Publicity and Campaigns as well as Corporate Brand awareness. Founded by myself and my business partner Tad Hamilton in 2008, Mosaic PR raises the bar in PR by creating tailored PR campaigns with a high success rate with media placement in top press outlets, creating A-List red carpet events and awards campaigns that have resulted in our clients successfully being nominated for, and winning, awards such as The Grammys, SAG Awards, Oscars, Golden Globes, Image Awards, Emmys and more.
Starting any business from scratch is no easy feat, but Mosaic PR was strategic and able to secure 5 cast members from the new TV series GLEE as clients which, being the hottest series on TV at the time, helped establish our PR firm as a powerhouse relatively early in our company’s formation. However, like most boutique PR firms we have faced some challenges over time such as the writer’s strike (which shut down Hollywood for a time), the COVID-19 pandemic, and navigating the changing landscape of in-person events and press. One lesson learned from our 13 years, is to be adaptable. Press, the Entertainment Industry, Events – these are all an ever evolving medium and it’s important to pay attention to trends and keep your finger on pulse of emerging/changing technologies.

One thing that really sets Mosaic PR apart is our dedication to showcasing diversity. Since our beginning, Mosaic PR has committed to pushing for inclusion in press for our clients that often get overlooked such as those clients with disabilities, those that identify as LGBTQI, as well as BIPOC. We strive to break down barriers and a professional highlight was when we were successful in pushing for two of our clients that starred on the EMMY winning series Born This Way to become the first ever individuals with Down syndrome to present at the EMMY Awards. Inclusion in Hollywood has come a long way, but there is still a long way yet to go and we are happy to be leading the charge.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in the heart of West Hollywood. So, we wouldn’t have to go far. But I ALWAYS bring out of towners to Santa Monica BLVD for food and night life. I love to bring them to the Hollywood Museum. people really love seeing all the old Hollywood Relics and props. Of course, we hit up PCH, check out Malibu and Venice beach. Rodeo drive and any place that is on their wish list!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Every single client we’ve had. Not one story is the same. With every story I tell, I become better at what I do. Thank you for trusting Mosaic to tell your story.
