We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Chase and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, how does your business help the community?
ōSHen is a creative space for conscious entrepreneurs. One of the biggest pain points for creatives is the lack of community in the space. Being a creative myself, I experienced a lot of competition and scarcity within the beliefs of creatives and one of my main missions is to create a space of connection, support, and abundance. When I noticed that a lot of entrepreneurs were seeking to be connected with others that were going through similar challenges in their growth, business creations, and personal development I decided to create The Tide community. The Tide community has since connected so many entrepreneurs in building creative endeavors/projects, soul-family connections, and networking. It’s the most impactful aspect of the business that I am most proud about – is creating a community for conscious entrepreneurs.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art form is being able to creatively express a brand’s essence through content creation. My gift is being able to hear what someone is not saying and as a result create branded content that reflects their soul essence. I use my spiritual and intuitive gifts to feel into what someone is trying to articulate through images and words that reflect their brand essence. This skill was cultivated over years of processing my deep emotions through mood boarding as a child and then in my teenage years of learning the ins and out of creating magazines. The lesson I’ve learned through this is that our greatest challenges (childhood trauma) are often the catalyst for our deepest gifts (creative expression).

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love everything about living in California. I would take them to experience the hikes near Topanga Canyon, the beaches in Malibu, and take a day trip to Santa Barbara for wine tasting. I would take them to Yunomi Handroll in DTLA arts district. I also love to go to the LAFC games at Banc Stadium.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wouldn’t be anywhere without the connection with my soul-family and community. The most recent experience of deep-soul happiness support within my life and business is dedicated to Niki Cozmo. I attended her Wealth Consciousness Brain Training last year where we dove into our subconscious through hypnosis to reprogram limiting beliefs with abundance. Through the work, I realized that joy is my ultimate metric of success and have since created a business plan for 2022 based on joy first and foremost and as a result financial abundance has come through as well. Thank you, Niki for holding the space and guidance for our most abundant life.
