We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Lin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
At the Opulent Academy, our mission is “To help individuals become the best versions of themselves through personal growth and co-creation with the universe. We empower our clients to tap into their true potential by providing them with a range of tools, strategies, and insights that enable them to live the lives they truly want and desire, while co-creating with the universe to manifest their dreams and aspirations. Through our mentorship, we aim to inspire and support individuals on their journey of self-discovery and transformation, so that they can experience greater alignment with their higher purpose and live a life of fulfillment in the spirit of opulence.

Here are some of the way that we help the community and the world:

First, we help people to discover their purpose. Through our mentorship, each individual will discover his/her true passions and purpose in life and take aligned actions to pursue their purpose in life.

Second, we focus on self mastery and the expansion of one’s awareness. Awareness always precedes change. By increasing one’s level of consciousness, he/she gains awareness of his/her limiting beliefs, that’s when he/she can consciously choose a new set of beliefs and therefore, produce new and improved results in their lives.

Lastly, we show individuals how to foster a growth mindset. Having a growth mindset is not only crucial but imperative if one wants to live a successful and fulfilled life. People with a growth mindset will be more likely to embrace change, overcome challenges and adversities, persist in their endeavors, and maintain a positive outlook in life.

By focusing on personal growth and development, we have a significant impact on individuals and their communities. When people are empowered to become their best selves, they can positively influence those around them and create a ripple effect of positive change in the world.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When I first starting my coaching business four years ago, it was just a one person show. I had to learn the different aspects of setting up and running a business including lead generations, marketing, sales, and fulfillment. I had a vision to build my own team but I had no idea what that would look like. Four years later, now I have four team members who support me in the growth and expansion of the company. I would have been able to grow my business without the help of my team members.

Of course, there were challenges along the way. But because part of what I teach to my clients is the importance of having a positive mental attitude and growth mindset, I always focus on the solutions rather than the problems. My mantra is “Everything is always working out for me” and because that’s what I believe, that’s what I manifest in my reality.

There are countless lessons I’ve learned along the way. I’ve learned so much about myself in the last four years than my entire adult life. I’ve upgraded three different versions of me since I embarked on my personal development journey back in 2017. The version of Amy now is a totally different version of me four years ago. I am a complete different person.

I had to overcome my low self worth, overcome so many limiting beliefs, also I had to have the courage to persist in pursuing my passion, which is to making an impact in the world.

My company’s name is The Opulent Academy. The word “opulent” means having an abundance of wealth full of riches and it all starts in the mind. Living an opulent life means being able to think lavishly, luxuriously with no restrictions. And I strive to live my life in the spirit of opulence. I am in the process of moving to Dubai, the city known as The Opulent City. Everything in Dubai is so grand and luxurious, and the people are so progressive and forward thinking. I am excited to embark on the next phase of my journey in Dubai.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would have lunch in Rodeo Drive and check out all the shops there afterwards. In the afternoon, we would go to the Getty museum to check out exhibitions and then stop by at the Santa Monica Pier to catch the sunset. After that, I would take them to have dinner at Providence where both the food and service is excellent. Then our last stop would be the Griffith Observatory where we can go stargazing before we call it a night.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have had many mentors and coaches along my growth journey. I want to give this shoutout to one of my current mentors Master Sri Arkarshana for his guidance in my spiritual journey. His mission is to bridge the gap between material physical world with the metaphysical and non physical world, teaching the spiritual community how to build wealth and show the materialists how to have a fulfilled life. He has reached millions with his various social media platforms and he inspired me to focus on making impacts with the work I am doing.
