We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Alonso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Mama Luchona Boutique was born when I became a mother and I did not know what to wear, the clothes in the big stores said that I had to change my style becuse I’m a mom. If I have learned something working in the Hollywood industry, it is that the image is everything, in all areas it is super important, our appearance says a lot Who we are, I wanted to wear comfortable clothes to be a mother and on the other hand I wanted to wear stylish clothes to look and feel good about myself and most important project it. And so by not finding anything in stores, I started my own business Mama Luchona boutique, our mission is to empower women, to look and feel good.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think that what distinguishes Mama Luchona Boutique from others is that as a woman and as a mother I know that each woman is different, we all have different body shapes, we want to enhance your body, empower your figure, we want that you feel comfortable and powerful. I really enjoy making mama luchona’s lipgloss keychain is handmade with natural ingredients, vitamin e and aromatherapy we have 3 scents lavender, chocolate and palo santo which is my Favorite helps me relax and clears the bad vibes, my favorite part is that my husband helps me make the lipgloss and the keychains I love being able to share those moments of creation with him, we do it with joy and emotion. I started Mama Luchona boutique in February 2021 in the middle of the pandemic, it was difficult, but my desire was greater than my fears, I have learned more about the business along the way, I am the first in my family to have a small business so I have learned things by doing them. I want to show the world what a mother can do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I will take you to mother’s beach in Long Beach, I love to go with my daughter Ana Luna she is 1 year old, mother’s beach is kids friendly, clean, has parking on site and a playground. Great to relax with the family. Chillin is a spot in Whittier to relax, play uno and drink boba, coconut smoothie is my favorite.
