We had the good fortune of connecting with Andre Darville and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andre, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor for my successes was the constant struggle. I am just somebody who has been in fight-or-flight mode since day one. My parents worked their backs off to give me everything they could. They went through everything life could throw at us.
I grew up watching my parents hustle every day to try to keep us going and alive. After seeing all that, I couldn’t just sit and live a normal life. My vision was clear; there had to be more in my head. I have always wanted to better my life. I don’t want to struggle anymore, and I definitely do not want my future family to struggle.
My success was achieved by refusing to accept the little that the world gives us. I wanted more, and that’s why freedom comes with success. I wake up every morning; yeah, it’s stressful, but it’s worth it, knowing I’m doing what I love every single day.
What should our readers know about your business?
LumiRx was born, for I almost lost a dear one through the hands of counterfeit drugs. With my technology, I said to myself that I would find a way to fight counterfeit drugs throughout the entire world.
LumiRx specializes in NFC (Near Field Communication) chip technology, which makes products more secure and user-friendly. Our chips are applied to strengthen the product authenticity and prevent counterfeiting in many industries: pharmaceuticals, luxury, and electronic devices.

LumiRx’s NFC chip technology simplifies DSCSA compliance by enabling real-time tracking and verification of pharmaceutical products. Embedded in packaging, these chips ensure authenticity throughout the supply chain, safeguarding against counterfeit drugs and enhancing patient safety.
Our Journey:
We embarked on a bold vision: redefining product security through the power of advanced NFC technology. Things haven’t been easy from here, facing challenges in developing strong, adaptable products. We were conned by two different developers initially, both of whom took in a lot of money from us and did not deliver any work. We’ve dealt with so many ups and downs, changes in leadership, and tons of people trying to steal our technology along the way. It’s been absolutely nuts but yet we haven’t stopped.
Proud Moments:
We are proud of the innovative technology that establishes new standards in product authentication and security. We will be able to make sure that every single medicine inside the United States is authentic and real for the end user. Clarity and transparency with products being put into our body are what count the most.
Future:
We are on route to authenticate 10,000,000 products by 2025 and we will save over 1,000,000 people from counterfeit drugs hitting their local pharmacies. We want to partner with local pharmacies, manufactures and distributors together to build trust in our products.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are some really awesome places in downtown LA to visit. Many haven’t scene the city from the top of the skyline buildings so spire 73, wayfarer, perch and a couple others are great drink, good music and foods for amazing views.
If you wanna find the best views of the city, I would go up to Angels crest towards Glendale, California, if you take a nice 30 minute drive up the mountain you will find a city view that you’ve never seen before.
There are some really nice bars spread around La just depending on the type of night someone wants to have. Level 8 can give you different rooms full of different music or entertainment choices.
