We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Fairweather and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks was and still is a high factor in me starting my business and in my product creations. It is proof of my visions and faith walk. Literally. Sometimes I get vivid thoughts and signs through prayer and my dreams. Those are the times when I know I must follow the signs being given to me because it is the moment to move on them and make it happen. It can feel like a free fall because one does not know what is ahead. But I would rather take a chance than not try at all.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am proud of paving the mobile beauty trail with my teams way back in 1997. Some thought I was crazy to believe that creating a mobile beauty team was the way to go but we forged ahead. FAIRWEATHER FACES Traveling Beauty Services had doubters at first but once they received our services they were ALL IN!
I then became a patented Inventor. I based my on-the-go makeup tutorial system on the looks created for our Celebrity clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a Brooklyn New York baby to the bone. Let’s start our romp to La Bagel on Lafayette Ave for coffee and breakfast, head up Vanderbilt ave to Grand Army Plaza Library then to the Brooklyn Museum. Lunch at Cornbread Soul then train to the Promenade. Walk down to the CourtHouses to watch the skateboarders then up Flatbush Ave for dinner and a slice of the world famous Juniors Cheesecake. Night cap on Fulton Ave at Deniz and then a candlelit relaxing moment with my Love Your Body Lavender Candle.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to Jesus. The guidance given was clear yet scary for me numerous times. But by grace I was able to come through wiser, grateful and hopeful to keep on going.
