We had the good fortune of connecting with Angel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Individually, we have always gravitated towards music, so the idea of being able to create and breathe life into our own songs was naturally something that resonated with us. We knew this is what we wanted to do when we started up and haven’t looked back.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Honestly I think what sets us apart is our resilience. There have been plenty of moments when we could have thrown in the towel but managed to overcome each of those obstacles and roll with the punches. I like to think that reflects in our music along with the different styles and genres we bring to the table when in the writing process. The key is listening to one another and stepping out of your comfort zone.

We are definitely proud of our progress over the recent years. Especially when our single “It’s Alright” hit 1 million streams on Spotify. That was a beautiful surprise for us that none of us saw coming. Granted, it isn’t the biggest accomplishment in the world but it’s a hell of a lot further than any of us in the band thought it would be.

Being in a band comes with its own set of challenges because life is life. It all depends on how much you are willing to pour into something you love. There will always be a million reasons not to do something so just pick something you want to do and give it your all. This has always been the mentality of this band. We may never reach the success that we hope for but the journey itself has been unforgettable and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are from the San Fernando Valley so we have to show our home some love. There are a plenty of places that would be awesome to go to including;

Player One in North Hollywood. That’s a cool little barcade spot to have some drinks and play some retro arcade games

Brunch at the Idle Hour which also happens to be in North Hollywood. You can see Kyle Gas from Tenacious D. Pretty random but we think it’s cool

The Midnight Hour in San Fernando is an awesome record store. They throw shows there as well and is definitely a hot spot to see good live music.

Pine Tree in Reseda is one of our favorite Korean BBQ restaurants. We always enjoy the quality of food and great service. Not to mention the drinks!

Round 1 in Burbank is also so much fun! It’s another arcade in the valley that have very cool claw machines and Japanese rhythm/fighting games

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We have to thank our family, friends, and everyone who has ever believed in us and our dream. They have stuck it out with us through the good and bad. Without their support we probably wouldn’t have lasted as long as we have. We are forever grateful for their sacrifices.
