Meet Angela Andikyan | Life Coach & Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Andikyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angela, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Authenticity and adaptability are the most important factors behind my success. Being a life coach requires these traits, among many others. To be successful in my line of work, I need to adapt my style when working with different people and in different situations. I consider authenticity to be about being true to your values, your intention, your objectives and your commitments. It’s not about being fixed in one style of interaction.
My clients have shared that they feel our coaching sessions have been tailored just for them. This is absolutely true! Authenticity also requires clarity and I provide that transparency in my communication. I demonstrate this by giving consideration to my clients’ needs and understanding what matters most to them.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My purpose is to help people breakthrough limitations and reach their potential. I started out with a degree and career in Marriage and Family Therapy. After completing 3,000 internship hours and working diverse sites, I realized there was a different approach I could take to help the community. Clients were seeking direction and requesting how to navigate through life. I wanted to make a difference, so I changed my practice towards life coaching and began offering teleservices. Not knowing where it would lead, my inbox was instantly flooded with inquiries about how to sign-up for life coaching sessions.
What sets me apart from other coaches is my ability to integrate my extensive background in mental health with the solution-oriented focus of coaching. My approach is unique in how I challenge my clients and I feel fulfilled in the work I do. To date, I am most proud that I have had an impact on over 500 people!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Upon obtaining my graduate degree, I had the privilege to receive specialized training and supervision from the very talented Anita Avedian, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Avedian Counseling Center. She has been an integral part of my journey and continues to provide encouragement.
A special acknowledgement for my amazing sister who has been my greatest cheerleader! She has inspired me to continue building my coaching business. I appreciate all my family and friends who have been so loving and supportive!
