We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Duncan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
In my experience as a top-ranked podcast host, one important thing that many entrepreneurs overlook is the potential for income within podcasting. While it’s true that launching a podcast can be a fantastic way to build your brand and connect with your audience, what many fail to realize is monetization opportunities it presents. From sponsorships and advertisements to affiliate marketing and product offerings, there are several ways to generate revenue from your podcast. However, you do not have to be a podcast host to create income. Being a podcast guest and using other people’s platforms to generate income is also possible. You need a strong call to action. That is the key.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a very curious person who asks questions. I love to study numbers. And a bit of a nerd too. As a survivor of childhood abuse and poverty, I lived in in 7 states before the age of 15. Missed many school days. Lived on other peoples couches. I knew absolutely nothing about money. But I knew people who had money seemed to have more freedom than I did. So I became a student. From a successful career in banking, financial advisor, owning a top 10 RE/MAX with over $2 billion in sales, to scaling and selling an insurance company. Now with 25 + years of studying personal finance, I want to share not only my story, but the story of other successful entrepreneurs through the free platform you know as Podcasting. A tool where I can help share business and money advice to and from people all around the world. I am on a mission to become one of the best Podcasts in the world to inspire others to build generational wealth and break the poverty cycles.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is the mecca of all things including food, art, business, music and so much more. Lets start on a golf cart tour of Wynwood where you will learn the history of the most decorated art buildings in the city. After the tour, listen to live jazz music at the Listening Exchange and dinner at Fabel, an open roof top bar. The next day is all about Brickell. Shopping at the impressive Brickell City Centre and OkeyDokey, a walk down Brickell Key Park, dinner at the newest hot spot Dahlia, ending with a drink at the famous Sexy Fish. Of course Miami is known for its sports teams – Miami Heat, Marlins, Dolphins and Panthers depending on your preference and the season. Miami zoo is surprisingly large and only $23, cheaper than a drink at Sugar. The last Wednesday of the month is the #1 networking event Epic Talks is a must. And for the museum aficionado check out Super Blue Miami or Frost Science Museum.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In 2023 I wanted to write a book. I have always had coaches during different seasons of my career. I knew I wanted to create a best selling book and had to hire an incredible coach to help me. This coach has written almost 30 books, many are best sellers. He teaches people how to turn their message into paid speaking opportunities. Now only did he help me create and design the book, but his team taught me KDP and Amazon, and my book became a best seller in the 1st week on Amazon. I wanted to reach as many women as possible to teach financial freedom. I am very grateful for James Malinchak.
