We had the good fortune of connecting with Ani Issagholian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ani, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When you want to start your own business, risk is a necessity. There is the fear, of course, and you can not and should not ignore it, but you shouldn’t let your fear stop you. Do it with fear! After one or two risks, you will be sooo comfortable with your feelings. You do the risk by knowing it might not work. We do it; if it works, it works. If not, no problem, do something else. That’s how we do 😀

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We have a natural skincare line. Now we mostly work on anti-aging face products. Our products’ effect is so fast, and when we see people’s happy faces when they come back to us saying how happy they are after feeling the softness and glow of their skin, we feel so grateful and delighted too. It was not easy to reach this point. We had lots of challenges like financial issues, paperwork for certifications since English is our third language, dealing with suppliers, etc.; we learned to keep calm in all situations and think wisely. We learned how to deal with people and understand their feelings. Our biggest goal is to help people change their life by using our products. When they touch their face after a week of using our products and feel the softness, a big smile appears on their face. We want that smile on every man and woman who thinks age makes them look bad. We appear the natural beauty that they Deserve to have. We know that we still have a long way to go and we Never give up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take my friend to Armenian and Persian restaurants since I think we have the best food 🙂 Raffi’s place is a Persian restaurant in Glendale which I think they have good Persian BBQ. Also, I would take them to Khinkali House to have Armenian delusions dishes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family is my biggest supporter. My brother is the one who I wouldn’t do even one step without him. We grow together, we read together, we work together, and we learn together. The books that we studied helped us grow and be more mature in our journey. The power of now by Eckhart Tolle is one of them. We read many many books, and we didn’t only read them, we studied them deeply. Educating ourselves is a must to live the desired life.
