We had the good fortune of connecting with Anica Mcinnis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anica, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is passion, always come from the heart. When you let your passion drive your cause it can only multiply your blessings. If you don’t get the results you desire right away, you learned a valuable lesson no start from where you are.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I can’t imagine a field of business or art that can be considered easy to get off the ground, and then grow it to where you are comfortably feeling that it is no longer work. This process is grueling and exhausting at times but what drives me are the end results, When you touch someone’s life in a positive way and in a small way become family. I combined my passion for people with my dedication for work and growth of my own business and I always say when people ask me, I was in a position of throwing balls to the wall in order be able to ground my career as an artist, actor, producer. Regardless of what The wall I was using to throw the balls to it always begin with making a difference in someone else’s life. It was never about just me it was about the greater good. In either field I am involved in nothing has been easy, easy is not the best foundation for a good lesson. Many trying times, many alone days and nights, many struggles but I would do it all over again if it guaranteed I would get exactly where I am. I overcame all of those struggles by one, knowing that if I gave up many people would feel the impact. No matter how difficult things got, I kept reminding myself that the light at the end of the tunnel would be worth reaching. I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way and one is never take things too personal, for passionate people that is a difficult thing to do, and also that in some small way your hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed, your blessings come in ways you never expected, this drives me. If I can tell the world one thing is that my brand is me, no one can do it like me and all the results starts within. The good the bad and the indifferent are controlled by me, my efforts and my thoughts, when I come from a good place whatever the results are I know I did my best.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend came to visit me as it’s happened many times it would be life changing. Los Angeles is like having the whole world come together in one city. The reason I love it here is because there is so much culture so much excitement and acceptance to who people are where they want to go and who they want to be with. I would definitely be disappointed if a week is all we had but I would start by taking my guest to a quaint little family owned restaurant or coffee shop. Small own businesses make up a large percent of the businesses in Los Angeles and if you speak to the owners the idea for their business most always came from a passion they had. They have so much character and history which makes this a great starting point. Aroma cafe in studio city being one of my favorites. From Downtown Los Angeles to Hollywood, there is never a dull moment. Always someone to strike up a conversation with, new and exciting events happening in every corner. From the Santee Alley shopping to Malibu California on PCH, the beaches, the pier in Santa Monica to Runyon Canyon in Hollywood. It will be a fun filled exciting week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A one person I can’t give enough shout out to is a young man I met about 4 years ago. He saw in me things I never saw in myself. With his support the doors of opportunity have swans open in unimaginable ways. Thankfully for me, through all the ups and downs he chose to stick around and make our union forever so I now am blessed to have him as a husband.
