We had the good fortune of connecting with Ann Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ann, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m a native of Houston, Texas. My upbringing was absolutely awesome! Parents, teachers, neighbors, and friends were always there for me. They gave genuine support, and their insight was given with warmth, compassion, and kindness.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m thrilled to share the incredible journey of Ann Miller Etiquette, a program that’s deeply meaningful to me. It’s a program that has truly impacted lives across generations – from the littlest ones to teenagers and adults. Our focus? Equipping individuals with invaluable tools that nurture self-confidence, self-discipline, and self-esteem – qualities that hold immense value in today’s competitive world.

My personal adventure began well before discussions about equity, dignity, and respect took center stage. I took the leap to impart the fundamental teachings of manners and etiquette to young minds. Through my beloved etiquette classes, I embedded these timeless values, lighting the path toward personal and professional success. My journey has woven through different roles – from the gas industry to retail, teaching, and the ownership of Ann Miller Co-Ed Etiquette & Charm. It’s a journey that’s also been intertwined with family caregiving, business revitalization, and my latest passion: songwriting.

At the core of it all are the transformative forces of grace, benevolence, faith, and love – elements that have guided every step of my life. They’ve not only shaped my narrative but also created a positive ripple effect for every person I’ve encountered.

In 2009, the resonance of my teachings caught the attention of the Alley Theatre community. Directors, literary directors, stage managers, and actors attended my etiquette classes, seeking insights to infuse authenticity into their production, “Mrs. Mannerly.” This experience reaffirmed the profound impact that etiquette and manners have on our lives, inspiring me to invigorate Ann Miller Etiquette with renewed energy.

More recently, a new creative avenue has opened before me – the world of songwriting. My latest composition, “Etiquette Can Fix It,” underscores the unwavering significance of good manners and respectful conduct in achieving success. The lyrics of this song illuminate the boundless potential that unfolds when we embrace the principles embedded in ‘Etiquette Can Fix It.’

I wholeheartedly invite you to embark on this remarkable journey with me. Together, let’s navigate a path of empowerment, growth, and transformation. Let’s open the doors to a realm of infinite possibilities, all rooted in the enduring values of etiquette and respect.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
All my friends love to shop, so we’ll visit some nice boutiques and shops, tour Beverly Hills and more areas. We can indulge in fine dining at Nobu and some of my other favorite restaurants. The beaches are also our favorite spots. We will rent bikes and enjoy the sun.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would absolutely love to give shoutouts and recognition to the following extraordinary people.

My students and supporters who have made the song ‘Etiquette Can Fix It’ so successful.
