Meet Anthony Wagner | Owner Fiori Golf

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Wagner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anthony, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started Fiori to prove to myself that anything is possible if you fully commit, even without prior experience. I had no background in clothing, so I had to learn every part of the business from scratch. Along the way, I discovered a passion for creating a brand that golfers would be proud to wear both on and off the course. Fiori focuses on multifunctional pieces that seamlessly fit into daily life while offering a fresh way to represent the game. Our aesthetic reflects laid-back Southern California roots, elevated by subtle Italian elegance.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is the level of dedication and motivation I bring once I find something I’m passionate about. Growing up, I played competitive golf and spent nearly every day after school at the course honing my craft. That mindset, the discipline and drive I developed at a young age, is what ultimately led me to create Fiori.
The thing I’m most proud of is simply taking that first step and committing to showing up every single day. Fiori wouldn’t be where it is without that consistency, and looking back over the past four years, I’m proud of what I’ve built from the ground up.
Was it easy? Absolutely not — and it still isn’t. Business comes in waves, with highs and lows, and the real test is how you handle the moments when things don’t feel right. Learning to push through that doubt is what allows you to keep moving forward.
I want the world to know that life is short. take risks on what you truly love and never give up.
Representing Fiori is really about representing yourself. Your growth, your daily journey, and the drive to be the best version of you. The name Fiori, which means “flowers” in Italian, symbolizes life itself. Just like golf, life requires patience and care; you have to nurture it if you want to grow. That’s what the brand stands for. Growth, resilience, and evolution. The same values that shaped my own story when I started Fiori.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A great day in Ventura could start with coffee and an açaí bowl at Caje Coffee Roasters. From there, head over to C-Street for a surf session and some time by the water. In the evening, drive up the coast to Solimar Beach at low tide, grill some carne asada for tacos, and hang out with a few drinks as the sun sets. Simple and low-key, but hard to beat.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give a huge shoutout to my parents. They’ve always supported me and reminded me that I can push myself further than I think. My fiancée, Maya, also deserves so much credit. She helps with the brand every day and has been a constant source of love and encouragement. And the book Shoe Dog by Phil Knight was a big inspiration for me. Reading about how he started Nike with no real roadmap gave me a lot of confidence to dive into this journey.
