Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Embarking on a week-long adventure with my best friend, we’d kick off the excitement with a short RV trip to Rock Springs, AZ. The lure? The world-famous pie that’s an absolute must-try. After indulging our taste buds, we’d rev up the engines for another RV escapade, this time to Canyon Raceway near Lake Pleasant. Here, we’d witness the adrenaline-pumping races of “Derek Hudson” on his dirt bike and cheer on his dad, the skilled dirt track car racer “Chad Stewart,” both proudly sponsored by Icebreakers.
Staying true to the off-road spirit, we’d take advantage of the RV and head for some dirt bike adventures, possibly even filming an episode for our Roku Channel, “IcebreakersTV.”
For a unique bacon-infused experience, Mountain Shadows Resort’s Bacon Bar would be our next stop. With the Arizona State Fair in full swing, we’d support our sponsored driver #22 in the Figure 8 races.
As the sun sets, we’d relax at a cozy AirBNB cabin in Beaver Creek, gearing up for the next day’s exploration.
Central Phoenix holds a special place in our foodie heart, with favorite haunts like Hanny’s and the Cornish Pasty Company. If we find ourselves on the west side, the Tacos Al Pastor food truck is a must-stop for some delicious tacos.
Amidst the adventure, we’d soak in the vibrant culture at First Friday on Roosevelt Rd and explore local open-air markets for unique finds and souvenirs.
Finally, we’d wrap up our unforgettable week with a visit to the renowned Saltmine Studios, immersing ourselves in its historic and vintage artifacts. For breathtaking views, the 3rd floor of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar offers a stunning panorama of Arizona’s beauty. The journey, filled with racing thrills, culinary delights, and cultural exploration, epitomizes the diverse and exciting experiences Arizona has to offer.

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my incredible parents, my true source of inspiration and pillars of strength. From the earliest days, they instilled in me a resilient mindset, teaching me to focus on the positive even when faced with daunting challenges. Their unwavering support, mentorship, and boundless love have been the guiding forces that shaped my journey.
Beyond life’s practical lessons, my parents introduced me to the profound wisdom found in the Bible. Its timeless passages, particularly those speaking of strength in times of adversity, have been a wellspring of guidance for me. The teachings have not only provided solace during tough times but have also infused a sense of purpose and perseverance into every aspect of my life and work.
In recognizing the crucial role they’ve played in my story, I extend my deepest gratitude to my mother and father.
