We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Gaddo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laura, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I pride myself on finding consistent authenticity in my work and in what I create, especially when representing a brand or company with their own unique identity and needs. As in my interior design career, I work directly with my clients to create a palette and mood for their brand and products that carries on month after month.
The result is a cohesive brand image designed to convert the engagement into sales.
The most import factor behind a successful business is to listen to the clients and their needs. It is ultimately their business, and we are just helping them tell their story through pictures and captions.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am a full-service digital content creator who will help your business build and grow an online presence. Whatever product, store, or service you want to promote, I capture the most appealing imagery to showcase online, either by developing original photos with product styling or by adding a fresh spin to your current imagery. We then provide customers with a monthly calendar of social media content specifically curated to showcase their brand at its best.
Depending on the clients ‘s needs, we can also create captions that tell their story and generate more engagement. The result is a cohesive brand image designed to convert the engagement into sales.
Convincing owners and professionals on how important investing in their online presence can be challenging at times. There seems to be a misconception that they should be able to handle this, or anything else for that matter on their own, not realizing that when they bring a professional into the picture, they not only free themselves from the responsibility they will have more time to concentrate on the core of their business, they end up increasing their business more than they thought possible, which of course, was the goal.
As for what sets me apart from others, I think my European background provides more of a worldview. But ultimately, I think it is my sincere interest in truly getting to know my clients, hearing their motives behind starting their businesses and finding the message they want to send to the consumer.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Orange County so for me it is all about being outdoors and at the beach. My perfect day starts with a jog around the Marina Hills trails, followed by a nice breakfast at Coyote Grill, a fantastic Mexican restaurant on PCH with an ocean view terrace.
Then is Beach Time! We have many great beaches that it is hard to pick only one. One of my favorites is probably Salt Creek Beach or Crystal Cove Beach where I actually got engaged.
A nice lunch at Nick’s in Laguna Beach is a must! If you go there you must try their famous Bloody Mary!
Shopping in Laguna Beach is also fun. So many little stores and unique vendors. I particularly like visiting the many art galleries and décor stores, Tuvalu’ is one of my favorites!
After a day in the sun dinner at Salt Creek Grill, a local favorite restaurant and bar, it is a must. With killer martinis, great appetizers and live music, this place is usually packed.
If I feel like having a nice dessert after dinner, a stop by the Lobby Lounge at the Montage Hotel is on order. I usually go for their Chocolate Molten Cake with a glass of Cabernet.
Tomorrow will be pretty much the same, maybe a different beach, some surfing, some paddle boarding and more local restaurants and shopping.
After last year’s pandemic I strongly believe in supporting my community’s small business as much as I can.
I look forward to a prosperous year ahead!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have so many people that encouraged me in pursuing this career.
From my family in Italy, to extended family in the USA.
But the person who mostly need recognition is my soon to be husband, Jim.
He always believed in my talent and it is thanks to him that today, I have achieved this much success in my business. He was the first one to believe that what started as a hobby could have potential to become a growing business.
His love, encouragement and every days’ support are the key to my success.
