We had the good fortune of connecting with Antoine & Spencer Holmes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antoine & Spencer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The major thought process behind starting a luxury real estate business was to service a community of high net worth individuals, celebrities, athletes and investors in sports & entertainment. After several years working in the corporate and entertainment industry, We have built and earned the trust of many.

I have always had a passion for the real estate industry, and I’ve managed to buy, sell, and invest in properties for over 16 years. Every one of these life-changing financial decisions was accompanied by a dedicated, knowledgeable real estate professional. My twin brother joined the team and The Estate Twins, aka “The Actor Agent” became the brand. We wanted to leverage our relationships with that passion and years of experience. We saw the opportunity and seized it!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Also known as the “Twins/ASH Brothers”, we were born and raised in Richmond, VA. We both earned Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees in Communication Arts & Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA. As a motivational tool to keep focused in college, we became self-employed and started our own business called ASH Production/ASH Brothers Design Studio. We Realized we were not just illustration designers, but screenwriters and actors, as well. In an effort to hone our craft, we moved to Los Angeles to pursue our dream of working in the film industry.

In the beginning phase of our acting careers we both landed a role in an independent film called CainAble. We played the roles of the young early adulthood twins Cain and Able. It was a test and a challenge to our acting abilities. The roles required a lot of dialogue and we both finished well with the film. With many commercials and background work in films and series it presented a window of opportunity for us.

Spencer, saw a post for a background role in at that time it was a film but now turned into a series. The role was to be a bodyguard to a family that were the main characters. But because we both are fearless and persistent, Spencer after getting picked for the role immediately made them aware that he has a twin brother and two bodyguards is better than one. We both went in for a one day shoot that eventually turned into 4 seasons later, no more background roles and we became series regulars as principal characters.

We are still on our journey to be leading men in the industry. Our brand is US, The ASH Brother Twins, The Estate Twins… You can not just have one without the other in some capacity close beside but never behind. It has definitely been hard plus a difficult road for us and we are merging our actor life with our real estate life which makes it even more challenging. We have our eyes set on Reality TV. We want the world to see us! For those celebs, athletes and high net individuals. We know how to handle your lifestyle and can give you what most agents and talent can not. LOL it’s not two for the price of one…. but it’s two times the service and two times the experience. For the producer looking for that new face, well you have two now, so lets get to work!

We have written several original screenplays for film & television, and we are both actively working as full-time SAG-AFTRA actors. We are currently working as recurring principal actors playing the roles Carlos and Carl on BET/BETplus Series Carl Weber’s The Family Business written by Carl Weber.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We both definitely will give them a good time at our home first. At either one of our houses. Good food, drinks and music/entertainment. Spencer’s wife Jayda makes amazing creole dishes. We all work hard so having our best friend visiting your home feels good. We like to hope that they are having the best time ever, lol.

Starting the week off, every Tuesday Spencer and I as real estate agents tour the MLS Brokers Caravan. We research usually in advance the most expensive luxury estates in locations like Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, Hollywood Hills, Encino, etc. We will take our friends on this exclusive brokers and real estate agents only experience and have our friends enjoy the experience with us as we tour these amazing estates.

A fun dinner night out on the town will be at a restaurant in Woodland Hills called Joeys. Great food and entertainment. They have a DJ at nights, nice vibe. Sometimes we change it up and go to Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills.

We like to spend our weekends with friends in Temecula’s wine country. We do some wine hoping but we always take them where we have our wine membership, Miramonte Winery. Our next stop is Hunnington Beach at the Shorebreak, a Kimpton Hotel. They have a nice bar menu and if we are really hungry we eat at BLK Earth Sea Spirits Seafood restaurant. No drinking and driving so we stay at the Shorebreak which has great rooms with beach centric design and atmosphere.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our first and biggest shoutout is our wives, Monica Booker-Holmes & Jayda Yvonne Holmes. Without there love and support we would not have a real estate business managing the Aston Rose Sports & Entertainment California office and an acting career. I’ve been married to Monica for twenty-four years this year and she has been with me from the beginning as I define myself through a multitude of careers. Supportive of me as a SAG_AFTRA actor, published author, screenwriter, program software developer and creator of a crypto token, she has been the driving force behind all my success. I would say she is my “Muse”! Her love for me, work ethic and commitment to her family is so inspiring that our casual everyday talks are more link “think tank” discussions and breakout sessions. Where our life together is a living vision board.

Big shoutout to my adult sons, Antoine Holmes, Jr. – “AJ”, Jaden Holmes, and Asa Holmes. I do it all for them! The real estate, wealth & generation building I have and still creating I do it all to leave them a legacy so that they can learn, teach and pass it on to there families.

Spencer wants to recognize that his success as a Real Estate Agent, professional SAG-AFTRA Actor, Author and Art Director/Designer would not have flourished if it was not from the love, encouragement and support of his beautiful wife Jayda. Jayda’s strength as a woman held down their family. Her work ethic is what pushed him to not give up and she believed in him when others did not.

As a family we have dreams and goals to achieve and Monica & Jayda are dedicated to seeing them become reality. As my brother and I continue in our career path we know our wives are our ROCK, our best friend and the LOVE OF OUR LiFE.
