Meet Antonio Liranzo | Pop Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Liranzo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antonio, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe that the most important factor behind my success is self belief and work ethic. I love inspiring others and myself as a reminder that even on a bad day, you are still a baddie. I didn’t get this far to just stop, I didn’t fight this hard to give up! If there is something that my inner child wants and I know it is my purpose, I will make sure it is achieved!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Hey, I am Antonio Liranzo, 32, from Long Island, NY. A proud Italian, Dominican, Libra, ready to spice up your life haha. So here is the short version of a long story. I grew up always wanting to be a performer, my family had very little money, so my options to train were very limited. Growing up, I did a lot of self training, by watching Britney Spears music videos and singing along to Disney animated movies. Fast forward to my twenties, I graduated from college and started pursuing dance and acting. I trained at amazing dance schools like; Alvin Ailey, BDC and Steps. I also trained at the Michael Chekhov Acting Studio, I was determined to become a big time artist. I was modeling at the time and working retail jobs to survive living in NYC. When 2020 came around and we all had to stay home, I had all of these creative downloads to write and create poetry books, so my career shifted during 2020-2022, I published four books (you can check them out on Amazon) and found success through my poetry. While that success was happening, I decided to move to Los Angeles in 2022 to pursue my acting and singing dreams, it was about time that I decided to give it my all with music! Now, here we are 2 years later in 2024 and I can proudly say that I have 2 singles out, and my third single “Berlin” is dropping on 8/16/24, and we have an album in the making! Its wild discussing this journey but, it is also so rewarding. I want everyone to know, that you can do it! Just keep clawing and fighting for what you believe in.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ok so for a chill weekend, especially when I’m hosting, I like to go to Barnsdall Art Park, the views form there are just so amazing and I love the tranquility that I receive from the park. I am a sucker for TomTom in Weho (Bravo fan here). I am also obsessed with Larchmont village, eating there, getting ice cream or a coffee meeting, its my go to area in LA.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
So a few shoutouts, first my mom, Antonietta, she has been my rock and biggest supporter! Yes, I grew up not having money and she couldn’t put me in the training and schools that she wanted me in, but she has taught me how to have resilience and has been a fan of mine since the beginning!
My brother, Vito, he is my go to human for everything, and he keeps me sane.
My friends, they are amazing supporters and push me to be better, especially my team currently helping me with my music and music videos!
My cats, y’all are my babies and everything to me!
Last but not least, Britney Spears, my favorite pop star, the first second I heard your music, I knew I was destined to do this!
