Meet Ardavan Javid | Entrepreneur and Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ardavan Javid and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ardavan, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is getting back up better and smarter after I’ve gotten knocked down. Whether someone tells me I can’t, or a competitor beats me to a client… I always reflect on what went wrong, what I can do better, and what I can do different to get the type of outcome I want.
A lot of creative people stop pursing their dream, or a project, or a client if they hear the words “NO”… or “CAN’T”… or get a few doors slammed in their faces. But those things fuel me more than anything, and awaken the beast inside.
As a result, my design firm Graphicwise has grown to attract a wide range of celebrity and Fortune 500 clientele over the past 20 years. Because clients knows that nothing will derail us from achieving extraordinary outcomes for them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Graphicwise is a creative and marketing firm founded by myself and my twin brother, Kevin about 20 years ago. We’ve kept our company small, and that’s by design. We want to prioritize each client, and grow with them long-term. Whether it’s a chiropractor in Newport Beach, a winery in Santa Barbara, or celebrity businessman Marcus Lemonis of CNBC’s The Profit (which by the way we were featured on – Season 8, Episode 5)!
We always give our clients 200% of our time, resources, and creativity – so that we become an irreplaceable asset and partner.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would have them fly into SNA (John Wayne Airport), so that I can take them to South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island to shop for some trendy attire. We would drive to the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point and have early dinner and drinks at Raya.
The next day we would drive to Los Angeles. We would check out Santa Monica / 3rd Street, grab the Godmother Sandwich at Bay Cities Italian Deli, and go up the coast to Malibu for a picnic.
Third day I would drive them up to the Ojai Valley Resort and Spa, and spend the day soaking in their infinity pool and walk around their downtown.
I would close out the trip with a two day food excursion in Los Angeles… from the Apple Pan in West Los Angeles, to Bestia in Downtown LA, Raffi’s Place in Glendale, and BSweet Dessert Bar on Sawtelle.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my best friend Nona Djavid for always pushing me to expand my mind and recognize my potential. My twin brother and business partner Kevin, who always shows up, and takes on the toughest challenges. And to the countless motivational speakers and mentors that play in my earbuds every night… Tony Robbins, Eric Thomas, Bob Proctor, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
