We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariana Malik and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ariana, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Born and raised in the cement jungle of Brooklyn, NY I want to draw attention to the raw primordial instincts often suppressed by societal norms or our own deep seated insecurities.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have extensive experience in Film Production. I have worked in the industry for 14 years and have a deep understanding of what movie making truly entails. I long to make stories that spark change. Our actions and choices have a greater footprint than we think.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to entertain an out of town visitor we would start our day at the Huntington Gardens. I never grown tired of this extraordinary place. So many beautiful worlds to see just along the walking path. After that we would fill our bellies at Viet Noddle in Santa Monica. They have by far the best pho in LA. The jackfruit mix is a scrumptious side addition. Last but not least, we would end our day at the Hollywood Bowl. Enjoying wine & pickings under the glorious night sky accompanied by music is more than one can ask for.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are people you meet in this world that recognize your talents & push you to express those talents. I credit Anna Kathleen, my muse & dear friend.
