We had the good fortune of connecting with Arianna India and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arianna, what matters most to you?
Honesty. Whether I’m promoting a product, replying to comments, or speaking to a friend I always value honesty above all else. I would rather turn down a $5,000 brand deal than lie to my friends and followers about a product that could cause unknown damage. That’s also why I don’t work with brands that I don’t personally use or have not thoroughly vetted before hand.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve lived many different lives professionally. Right out of High School I began my studies at University of California, Riverside with the pursuits of becoming a Medical Doctor.
Somehow, out of college I landed a career doing Sales & Marketing for one of the largest Cannabis Distribution Companies in California at the time. I was the youngest, highest earning Sales Rep with the largest territory of Clients in Los Angeles within the entire company during my time with them.
During COVID I took a break from being in the shops & decided to do some soul searching. Randomly, I taught myself how to Day Trade the Stock Market which proved to be exceptionally lucrative for me during that time. Having that to fall back on allowed me the time and freedom to really ask myself “what do you want in life?” And the answer to that was clear as day. I want to help others.
Eventually I landed where I am today which is pursuing medicine again. A slight detour and redirection but the pivots were necessary to understand what truly excites my soul. With my background in Cannabis & having the opportunity to discuss with the various different types of people that use Cannabis allowed me to see beyond the plant & understand the depth of its medicinal properties.
Today, I am studying Ayurveda at Southern California University of Health Sciences. I’m finishing up my bachelors concurrently with hopes of applying to a Naturopathic Medical School sometime next year.
I just so happen to be documenting my growth along the way through my various social media platforms. I’m grateful to have a voice & to be able to resonate with people. Sometimes I feel nervous to share what I’m learning because I don’t know how it will be received or if people even want to hear it. I just have to remind myself that my videos will reach the people that they’re meant to & hopefully resonate with those who are meant to hear it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oooh this is such a good question!
A perfect day in LA, to me, would be brunch at Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina Del Rey followed by a leisurely kayak or paddle board through the marina. Next we’d take a couple of Bird Scooters over to Abbot Kinney to do some shopping, walking & chilling. Dinner at Elephante while on that side of town is a must!
Sometime during that week, we would definitely have to score some late night burgers at Apple Pan in West LA.
Ideally this friend would come in to town during Black Market Flea week so I could show them some real LA culture & vibes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All the brands that took a risk working with me and my tiny YouTube channel in the very early days of my pursuits. They helped build my credibility as a creator, allowed me to practice my craft and the freedom to explore my passions within the space of social media.
