We had the good fortune of connecting with Arianne Del carpio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arianne, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I think when I was really little I knew the art and being creative it’s one of the things the fill my heart, people sometimes didn’t understand why I have this passion and as a latina you know the your family don’t gonna take it serious, growing up I knew the i cant make everyone happy, i just want people to see trough my eyes the creative side of me and with social media you can share all of your ideas. i love what I do and I love to be a different character every time it’s so fun!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m proud to bring my Peruvian perspective to the American fashion industry, blending Hollywood/goth rockstar glamour with my own unique style. It wasn’t easy to leave Lima and start over in the US, but I’m grateful for my mother’s support and my own determination. I’ve learned that success requires hard work, showing my work and style on tiktok definitely make me more confident to show what I love I want the world to know that fashion is about having fun, everyone its beautiful in their own way and being yourself. Not everyone’s going to get it, and that’s ok.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my If my best friend was visiting the area, I would show her the best of LA’s vintage shopping, restaurants, beaches, and nightlife. We would start in Topanga, to explore and take pictures at the spiral staircase, the haunted hill house, and whatever other picturesque places we can find. We would go to the beach and finish the day at the inn of the seventh ray, a romantic restaurant tucked in the woods of Topanga. Next, I would take her to Melrose for some antique shopping, then Dan Tana’s for dinner.
We would drive up to Malibu and go to El Matador beach. Then at night go back downtown to visit the Last bookstore, and the Varnish speakeasy. Before she left I’d make sure to bring her to Break room 86 for a night of dancing.
