We had the good fortune of connecting with Arnaud Rebotini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arnaud, how do you think about risk?
For me, risk taking is the root of creativity, it’s the way to create something new, something personal.
I often take risks in my career, for me it’s also my way to express my artistic freedom, I’m never afraid to sometimes surprise or even be where people want me to be.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
To answer to all this questions, i have only one answer is: Work, and never give up.
I would like to quote here Mark Twain
Make your vocation your vacation. It’s the secret of success.

I’m proud of any i did, but i guess I’m proud or happy about my longevity, and I think lasting is pretty important to me,
Composing is my life
For me there’s nothing more exciting than waking up in the morning in front of a blank page and thinking that what you’re writing is going to find an audience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Paris, or more precisely Montmartre, and there’s so much to see here on a simple walk.
We could walk up Rue Lamarck from the popular Guy Moquet district, with its food shops, which are our local businesses, the street winds all the way up the Montmartre hill, and you’ll meet very few tourists before arriving at the foot of the Sacré Coeur and its amazing view over Paris.
Then it’s on to the Basilique du Sacrée Coeur itself, which to my eyes is a unique monument of its kind.
We walk down to rue Lepic, passing by Hall Saint Pierre to discover an exhibition of contemporary art.
A few steps away, we’ll stop at Balade sonore, an excellent local record shop.
We’ll then cross the charismatic Place d’abbesses, to the wine bar and Shop called la Cave Des Abbesses , for a glass of wine from their selections, before dining at La Mascotte, a magnificent traditional brasserie specializing in poission and seafood.
If it’s not too late, we could watch a film at Studio 28, a cinema first opened in 1928 that hides behind its period facade a hi tech projection room.
And we’ll end the evening at the Pigalle Country Club, a little rock bar in the red district, for the great music selection and one of their delicious house cocktails.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to thank Ludovic Houplin and his design and animation studio, who created all the graphics for my label.
He is partly responsible for the label’s growth.
