We had the good fortune of connecting with Arnoldo Torres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arnoldo, what makes you happy? Why?
Making others happy. Makes me feel accomplished. I’ve always felt my purpose is bigger than me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My music is everything to me. From being raised in the projects (government owned homes) to walking out a professional boxer into the ring with my music. Nothing has been easy. I just don’t give up. ‘Till this day I face obstacles but I tend to use it all as motivation now (the good & bad).

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in the city as far as food is Carnitas el Rey. I love carnitas. Also, I always work my way down to a couple food trucks like Gordo’s Hot Chicken & Dos Compadres Tacos. My city is beautiful. Beachesd all over. If it’s the weekend, for sure we must attend a professional soccer game & support VCFC.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family, my hometown & anyone who’s believed in me a long the way. Everything up to this point has been for you.
