We had the good fortune of connecting with Arthur Andre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arthur, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk is everywhere. Nevertheless, some people are paralyzed by the fear of taking risks. Taking risks doesn’t mean succeeding every time, and that’s part of life. Taking risks can lead to failure which in turn can help you grow as a person. I believe taking risks is part of life. As children we subconsciously experience risks unsuspectingly, whether it be through trying a new sport, exploring a new hobby, meeting new friends, and in our growth-related stages. As we go through these experiences, we become more comfortable, developing behavioral patterns, we tend to want to do things that make us feel safe and familiarized with. I give credit to my parents for allowing me the opportunity to take risks and learn through my own challenges, so as an adult it wasn’t a surprise to what risks entail. Taking risks for me has always been due to curiosity and necessity. The more curious I was, the more I wanted to investigate to understand and learn more of the unknown. I enjoy the thrill of taking risks to acquire knowledge, but also to learn to self-reflect, which has strengthened my confidence in problem solving, social skills and captivating on challenges. This trait has allowed me to pursue starting a business. In order to pursue this, I had to remove myself from my comfort zone and allow myself into an environment where it was unfamiliar; one that would allow me the opportunity to utilize my skill set for a greater purpose. This mindset has placed me around many brilliant minds and has exposed me to many opportunities for my business that I wouldn’t have dreamed I would have worked with. More importantly, it has taught me to self-reflect and continuously learning to overcome challenges. Indefinitely taking “risk” just seems like it is part of who I am. Within business, I take risks in order to explore to learn more so that I can provide value to my clients. Being complacent only does a disservice to my clients and does not put me in a position where I would be ready to take on problems and allows me to continuously adapt and stay ahead of the market.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
iErgofit is an approach to injury prevention and ergonomics is based on tailoring to the specialized needs that emerge from an individual’s occupation, physical abilities, and environment. The main feature that makes iErgofit a valuable presence is the focus on load management, body mechanic education, and strengthening the body to cope with physical stress. Teaching individuals how and more importantly why their bodies move as they do, long term physicality becomes an asset.
