Meet Ashley Feuerstein | Owner of My Mystic Mane

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Feuerstein and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve been creative my whole life. From taking piano lessons at the young age of 2 1/2 years old, art classes as a child, to becoming a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, creativity flows within me. I have always enjoyed working with my hands creating beautiful things, and I love working with women of all ages. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing the smile and happiness on their faces once they see their mystified mane!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Glamorous glitter & funky feather hair extensions are a temporary way to make a permanent impression. My art is tedious, but extremely rewarding. I tie my glittery tinsel strands directly to the root of a few hairs with a series of knots. The feathers are attached with a silicone bead matching the color of your hair. Both can be washed, blow dried, straightened and curled. I offer 18+ colors in the glitter tinsels, as well as solid and grizzly authentic rooster feathers from the USA in natural and rainbow tones. The glitter tinsels last between 3-5 weeks, and the feathers last until they are removed; plus, they’re reusable. I love how trendy and unique my art is!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband is huge part of my success. Without his support, love and encouragement, none of this would have come to fruition. He 1000% supported my decision to pursue my passion, emotionally and financially, but most importantly, he believed in me. My husband is the reason I was able to put my all into my business and build it up to where it is today.
