We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley L. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always been passionate about aesthetics and the confidence it can bring to people. As my career evolved, I realized I wanted the freedom to create a patient experience that reflected my own values—personalized care, safety, and natural results. Starting my own clinic allowed me to combine my medical expertise with my entrepreneurial drive, and to build a space where all patients feel truly cared for.

What should our readers know about your business?
My clinic was founded to offer a patient experience that combines safety, personalized care, and natural results. What sets Profile Aesthetics and Medspa apart is my commitment to tailoring every treatment to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Starting my business wasn’t easy — there were challenges in building the practice, but persistence, learning, and staying true to my goals made the difference. I’m most proud of the community I’ve created: patients who trust me and feel confident in their results. My goal is to show that aesthetic medicine can be safe, empowering, and authentic — and that a practice can thrive while putting patients first.

At the heart of my brand is a simple mission: to empower people to feel confident in their own skin while delivering care that is honest, thoughtful, and personal.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Los Angeles, I’d show them the city’s energy, creativity, and incredible people. We’d explore neighborhoods, visit art galleries, enjoy great restaurants and coffee, and take in the outdoors. Evenings would be about relaxing with a delicious meal, live music, or local events — a mix that truly captures the spirit of LA.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To my mother, Sheila, whose drive and accomplishments I have always admired.
