We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Webber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Before I started my business, I realized many patients were left behind due to insufficient time. Patients that work full time nine to five. They have no options but to call out work if they need to see their doctor. And like most patients calling out of work also wasn’t an option. I wanted to build a business that allowed patients to be seen, and no matter the time of day, too many patients are diagnosed with their diseases at late stages because they don’t have the time to do their annual checkups. Opening the doors to sunrise pathology services has allowed patients more flexibility in scheduling home phlebotomy collections at their convenience.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sunrise Pathology Services is a mobile for phlebotomy business in Las Vegas. Our phlebotomy technicians collect specimens for the labs to run for further diagnostic testing for patients’ physicians to be able to diagnose the patients. Our business is different because we are not a PSC. We travel to the patients wherever they reside, making it easy and convenient for them to focus on their health. Over the past few years, the business has been doing pretty well. I want to say that having excellent feedback from each one of our patients has helped future patients and clients choose us and remain with us as a business. I take pride in how our patients are treated from the start of their appointment to the end. Having technicians work with patients in their residences allows them to take their time, which makes a difference between home phlebotomists and clinical phlebotomists. Patients can sense when they are rushed through their appointments, which takes part in how they feel.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot in the city This is honestly really a challenge in question because I am a workaholic. I don’t have much downtime or have much fun in the city currently, but I have some choices for food. I love the sea experience in Bally’s, But unfortunately, they close during the pandemic. I have two beautiful children, so one of our hangout spots is uptown jungle as a family. It allows us to have semi-alone time,, but the kids are there to have fun meeting new children and making new friends. vegas also has a new attraction that is fun for families and it is called fly over located on the strip.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My biggest supporter has been my partner, my husband, Nicholas Gamboa. When I finally bought up the idea of starting my business, he was with me from day one, helping me come up with a name for the business And any time I needed an ear for my ideas, he was there. With his background as an LPN, it was a bonus. Having support in your building and business is the most important thing that is essential because there are moments when we tell ourselves what we are doing and how we are going about it, and we need, and we need someone who 100% believes less than he is grounded sometimes.
