Meet Asteroth | Los Angeles Based Metal Band

We had the good fortune of connecting with Asteroth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Asteroth, what do you want your legacy to be?
Our Legacy: Every time anyone saw our name on a flyer, or anyone knew that we were gonna play, they knew we would steal the show with our music. Our music that demands your attention and your interest builds the more that you listen as you go on a cacophonous adventure full of harmonies and melodies

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are proud of the music we create, along with the connection we make with the audience. We got here professionally with a lot of trial and errors. We overcame these obstacles by being patient and practicing discipline. In our bands history we have learned; to have fun. If we’re not having fun you will tend to lose motivation very quickly and start looking for reasons to not continue music.
We were first known as Syndom us being “4 teenage kids with attitude” playing the music we wanted to listen to that wasn’t out there. Then we’ve grown and changed it to our current name Asteroth. We chose our name because it comandes attention and interest when reading it or saying it out loud. It gets the people thinking what or who that is.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I highly recommend to go down to the Viper Room and the Rainbow down in Hollywood. Going to those places is like going back in time . You can feel the energy of all the bands that played there back in the days . Tempo Cantina has amazing food with a margarita flight that you have to try! Along with a staple of K-town Dinos chicken !

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to Tom Chandler. He produces our music, helped us grow musically as individuals, and as a band. He is a man we can constantly pick his brain, rather it be new music or how the music industry works. Without him, we’d probably still be playing backyards gigs and haven’t musically matured. He’s able to push us to our limits and make us go further than we normally do.
Without him pushing us we’d just be any other bands playing the same things over and over again and it just wouldn’t feel like art.
Thank you Tom Chandler
