We had the good fortune of connecting with August Bleu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi August, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The love & passion that I have for what I do. Without the love, you’d have no passion & without passion, you’d lack quality/sincerity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of myself for not giving up, it’s so easy to do. Staying positive, driven, consistent & just my love for creating. It wasn’t easy, due to being shot 7xs, but I believed in myself, so I made it happen. I learned a lot along the way, but the most important lesson learned was, always stay true to self – my brand represents just that.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, this is kind of hard, due to being a huge homebody lol, but when I do get outside, I just enjoy being around fun people & that can be anyone. Wherever I am, whoever I am with, I will make sure we have the best time!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My producer Serious Beatz, has helped me by producing 98% of my music/sound.
