We had the good fortune of connecting with Avinash Kapoor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Avinash, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I just knew this is what i am going to do. easy

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a chef. I create food. I personally believe simple food is the best, I have had ups and downs in restaurant business. Is it easy? Yes and no lol. I have work ethics, I appreciate my work. Honestly, I just do it. talk is cheap. action is where it is. It comes to me easily.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot unfortunately closed. I do like the Spire 73 for drinks. I have my favorite places and keep discovering new ones. Since I work a lot lately I haven’t been out. I like Hugo Cellars in Downtown Las Vegas. I love Joe’s steak and seafood in Vegas. Lately I have been eating mostly in My own restaurant. I love Sasebune for sushi but chef passed away. I like K-zo in Culver city. I do go to Mastro’s in Calabasas as i like the food better and better service.
