Meet Belle Le Grand | Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Belle Le Grand and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Belle, how do you think about risk?

I’ve found myself thinking often about risk versus safety lately. These thoughts have only become more apparent as I’ve continued my creative pursuits, regardless, my answer to this question is quite simple:

Safety is smart, safety is practical and safety is logical. There is nothing wrong with wanting to obtain or maintain security. However, I have never found comfort in anything that did not make my heart sing.

Risk, to me, has always been the only choice. My ambitious and zealous nature has not afforded me the luxury of choosing safety in a world full of possibility. No matter the consequence, the reward has always been greater.

In short, self-actualization over self-preservation any day. That’s the only way I feel I’d ever really reach my true potential.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I am a fiercely gentle and dedicated artist navigating my way through Los Angeles at this time. I am so thankful to even say that I live here and am continuing to pursue my career here.

I am most proud of the progress I’ve been making these past two years; dedicating myself to forward movement even in the moments where movement seems impossible. The decision to keep going is always challenging, but it is absolutely necessary.

The voyage has not always been easy, but the fruits of my labor are appearing at last.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

As an avid adventurer, I am always searching for new spots here in LA, especially eateries because I love to eat.

One of my favorite places here is Pips on LaBrea. It’s a Black-owned wine and jazz bar, so if you’re into live-music, especially old soul, you should check this place out.

Otherwise, drinks at Harriet’s and ramen at Tatsu are always a must.

I frequent a lot of concerts out here as well, along with visiting the beaches out in Malibu whenever I get the time.

Where-ever there is a great body of water and/or live-music, I’m probably there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

To my parents,

Thank you for shaping my mind and heart in the best of ways.
