Meet Big Daddy | Latin recording artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Big Daddy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Big, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
life is like business, you must succeed

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a latin artist, what sets me apart from everyone else is my drive and love for my latin culture and people. im proud of the way my music tells my story and is capable of reaching people all over the world and potentially changing peoples lives through music. God chose this path for me, I never knew I was going to pursue music or do this professionally, it came to me and I really got pushed to do music because of my boyfriend who passed away, because this is what he wanted me to do. pursuing music did not come easy because it comes with a lot of sleepless nights, long days, extremely tiring workout plans, none stop music and vocal classes as well as endless hours in a recording studio without a guarantee of success, its a big risk but im willing to risk it all because I believe in myself more then anything, I run with God and when I run with Him I have no fears. I’ve learned that not everyone is genuine in the love they show you, but you have to keep your heart pure and not allow their toxins to enter your love and affect my heart. No matter how many life puts you down, you have to get up every day and keep the passion that you have for your craft going, persistence and perseverance wins in the long run.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I usually to busy throughout my week, so when my friends do visit I include them in my day to day activities, which include various networking events at very exclusive venues which usually come with a beautiful view of what Los Angeles has to offer, as well as work out activities such as the gym, tumbling and dance classes which are all very fun.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
