We had the good fortune of connecting with Binh Vo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Binh, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
For us, it started with a strong desire for creative freedom and the vision to build something that truly reflects our values—not just in the art we create, but in how we treat people. We’ve all worked in different environments, and over time, it became clear that we didn’t want to keep pouring energy into someone else’s vision. We wanted to create a space where artists could grow, clients felt genuinely taken care of, and the culture felt more inclusive and forward-thinking.

Starting the business wasn’t just about opening a shop—it was about reimagining how things could be done. We used our backgrounds in design, media, and tech to build thoughtful systems and workflows that improve the experience for everyone involved. From the way we communicate with clients to how we showcase our work, we wanted every part of the studio to feel intentional, modern, and human.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets us apart isn’t just the quality of the tattoo itself—it’s the way we design every piece to fit the client on every level. We don’t just take an idea and throw it on skin. We study the anatomy—the bone structure, muscle flow, movement of the body—and craft designs that feel like they were meant to be there. Every line, every curve, every placement is intentional. It’s not about trends or categories—it’s about creating something that lives in harmony with the person wearing it.

What we’re most proud of is the way our clients feel seen in the process. We don’t just design for them—we design with them. We take their stories, their personality, their energy, and shape it into something permanent, something powerful. That collaborative energy is everything to us.

Getting to this point wasn’t easy. We built this from the ground up, with no blueprint—just vision, grit, and a lot of trial and error. There were struggles—financial, emotional, creative—but we leaned on each other and stayed focused on what mattered: creating something real. Hieu, my business partner, has been instrumental in that journey—his mentorship, discipline, and eye for detail have shaped not just our style, but our entire philosophy.

Along the way, we’ve learned that doing things differently is a strength, not a weakness. We’ve built our own systems, workflows, and branding from scratch because no off-the-shelf solution could reflect who we are. And through that, we’ve created a space that feels more like a movement than just a studio.

What we want the world to know is this: every part of our brand—from the way we design to the way we communicate—is rooted in care. We’re not here to just put tattoos on people. We’re here to help them feel more connected to themselves through art that’s designed specifically for them—mind, body, and spirit.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone was visiting for a week, we’d skip the tourist traps and take them on the kind of trip that fills your soul. We love exploring open-air malls, antique stores, thrift shops, and local swap meets—not just to shop, but to find inspiration in things that are often forgotten or overlooked. There’s something really beautiful about giving old objects new meaning, and that mindset is at the core of what we do: finding ways to recycle energy, stories, and aesthetics into something fresh and personal.

We’d take the slow, scenic routes—cruising through small towns, grabbing coffee at family-owned cafés, and meeting the people who really give a place its character. Some of the best ideas and deepest conversations come from these in-between moments. It’s not about rushing—it’s about soaking in the details most people miss.

At night, we’d find somewhere lowkey but full of soul—maybe a cozy spot with good music and better food, where the energy is warm and the lights are dim. We’re drawn to spaces that feel lived-in, not curated for Instagram. That’s where real creativity sparks.

Whether it’s digging through bins of forgotten treasures or discovering a tiny gallery on a side street, we’re always looking for beauty in the unexpected—and that’s what we’d want to share with anyone who visits. It’s less about checking boxes and more about feeling the rhythm of the place.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people and influences that deserve recognition, but one person who truly stands out is my business partner, Binx. He’s more than just a co-founder—he’s a mentor, a brother, and someone who’s been in the trenches with me since day one. His commitment to the craft, to our shared vision, and to constantly pushing boundaries has shaped so much of what our studio has become. I’ve learned so much from him—not just about tattooing, but about leadership, patience, and staying grounded through it all.

Beyond that, we owe so much to the artists and clients who believed in us early on. They embraced something different and trusted us to create a new kind of experience. That support gave us the confidence to build without compromise.

We also want to shout out the creative community—mentors, peers, and even strangers online—who shared their knowledge and challenged us to think deeper about branding, systems, and building something sustainable. A lot of inspiration came from podcasts, books, and long nights studying everything from psychology to design to business strategy.

And of course, none of this would have been possible without the quiet strength of our close friends and family. They stood by us through all the uncertainty, reminding us why we started and who we’re doing this for. This whole journey has been a team effort—and we’re grateful for every piece of it.
