We had the good fortune of connecting with Blake Wayne and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Blake, what do you attribute your success to?
As a Private Chef, I’m often asked what has helped me stand apart from my peers. I believe that my passion for researching, identifying and sourcing the highest quality ingredients from unique and exceptional sources has not only been the key to elevating my craft, but also is what inspires me to create innovative and flavorful recipes that I can share with my private clients as well as at my Supper Club dinner parties guests.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As most chefs, I started my career in a restaurant kitchen under renowned chefs who’s exact menus I had to execute with precision. While I can thank these early positions in my career for teaching me the fundamentals of fine dining and the work ethic that I still follow today, I’ve always known that I would one day be able to follow my passion in creating my own dishes. As a personal chef I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with clients on menus that have paved the way for the experimental flavor profiles that has grown to become my personal style that you can expect at my supper club dinners and private events.

I source all of my coffee for my baked goods and savory dishes, including my Coffee Roasted Carrots and beats dish which is a client favorite, from Flowerboy in Venice, Ca. Not only do they have phenomenal coffee, but their flower arrangements are unique and a staple for all of my tablescapes at my Supper Club dinners and events.
