We had the good fortune of connecting with Brady Lukas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brady, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks is something we have naturally always done. Right from the moment we started this journey we took risks and it was all crucial to get us where we are today. We had to jump over serious financial hurdles along the way and talk to people influential when we were stuck on things and it is a lot of pressure. At the end of the day though if we had never stepped foot in that interview with Alan Cross due to our own fear we would miss out big time. You always want to take risks, even if it turns out to be one of your failures.. It will work itself out in your favour some way or another. – Brady
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m the most proud of our unique style and how organic our music is. The way we sound is a projection of how we feel deep in our hearts and it shines on every track we’ve made. Even our oldest songs on Art is Gone you can hear what we want and where we see ourselves in this world that can be hard to see in at times.
Nothing is really easy per-say, but if you love what you do it’s natural that at least someone will think what you do is impossible or not achievable. Really anything is if you put your mind to it. I would say if you are in the music space odds are you think its easier because you wake up every morning with that itch, that urge to get up and go record where as someone else may be turned away by that. The hardest part is getting yourself to take risks and getting financially stable before launching.
We want people to know that we are here to inspire! Young or old you should always chase your dreams. Anything is possible.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would probably go Niagara Falls have some drinks hit the casino. The falls is always nice for the first time!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout all the fans keeping the dream alive! We are more than thankful. To friends and family for being a part of the journey.. without your support where would we be.
