We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandee Blodgett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandee, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for your children?
Put them first!!!! I have 3 boys and even though I have always been a hard worker and maybe sometimes busy in their eyes every little thing I do and thought I have revolves around them! I was a teen mom but from the moment I had my first child that was my first priority! I work hard to give them things and experience things I was never able to. My boys are amazing young men and make me proud all the time which lets me know I did something right! Any success I have is because of them the drive I have for them and to show them they can do anything they put their mind to!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I would like to consider myself an artist in my field of work! I am creating and enhancing others beauty and a lot of it comes down to having the eye and talent to do so. It’s not easy it’s takes time and a lot of practice to perfect most things and in some things like what I do for example it’s a continued learning skill, I am always learning something new as well as trying to constantly better myself. In life I have found that there will always be bumpy roads/ roller coasters and you have to try to stay positive and go day to day, one thing about me is I don’t give up once I have my mind on something the determination sets in and I usually find a way to make it happen, I always try to push and motivate others with positivity and to focus on finding that determination (tunnel vision). There are challenges, being in the beauty industry there will be cancelation, no shows, competition, but you just have to plan and prepare for those things so that they don’t hit you hard financially, staying busy, working hard, building relationships, not worrying about what others do and putting out good quality work helps with not hitting too many obstacles but of course with life there will be downs with the ups. It is now April 2020 and the world is dealing with a pandemic that no one saw coming, no one was prepared and we are all trying to find a new normal and pray for better tomorrow’s! Prayers daily for our world! What I would want the world to know about my business/ brand is that anything coming from me comes from the heart I love what I do and I put my whole into it, quality matters which is why I will always continue learning, practicing and only putting out quality products, my work is art and many walk around with it on their face and I want it to stand out so others say they love it and ask where they got it done, I have said from day one “spreading love one eyebrow at a time”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely say Sedona, it is one of the most beautiful places in Arizona and has always gave me a sense of peace, incorporating hiking and sitting by a creek to soak in Mother Nature. I am a home body so going out to lunch ( one of my fav is Cracker Barrel lol good home cooked type of food) or going to get our nails and pedicures done would be a must. Stepping out of the box a little to try a wine and painting location would be something to consider or maybe a comedy club

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a few people who are my reasons, motivations, inspirations and or simply amazingly supportive, my kids of course (Keeavion, Javon, Brystin), my mother Terri, my grandmother Bobbi, my boyfriend Justin his mother Kim, some amazing family/ friends- Heather, Flor, Angela, Tequila, Licole, Tasha, the list could go on I have so many amazing supportive clients as well, I would not be where or who I am in my business without them!
