We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Waters and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
How much time, effort, and experience it takes to start and finish a project.
What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called Waters Films. Where we capture moments, document your life, and market your company through engaging videos in a fast turn around time then most video base companies. I’m most proud of my self for staying doing the same and getting better and better over time and still being in business. It wasn’t easy to get here. I’ve had countless hours of editing, watching YouTube videos, and meeting new people at a multitude of conferences. Life is a long distance run and the hardest part is just not stopping. When I took breaks I still made sure I did 1-2 things to get me closer to where I am now. A major lesson I learned is that time and people are the most important commodity that we have. Anything is possible if you have a plan.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1: Relax and catch up Day 2: Beach day
Day 3: Ride bikes
Day 4: Movie marathon
Day 5: Get some seafood
Day 6: Have a cookout
Day 7: Relax and recap
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to my Dad! Without him I wouldn’t be able to know what I know, do the things I’m doing now, and meet the people I’ve met to get me to where I am now.
