We had the good fortune of connecting with BREDMAN and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi BREDMAN, what’s your definition for success?
I define success by having the trust and willingness of other successful and creative people and having them being open to work with you. Also taking your opinion and being able to obtain leadership roles in any given environment. Success is all situation but the mindset of success is that of an individual who takes advantage of any given opportunity and does the best to elevate the environment they’re in.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I believe sets me apart from other artist is my commitment to forging my own sound. I’ve done so purposefully in order to keep my music as personal and close to home as I can.
Something I’m very excited about is a project I’ve been working on named “Mace Windu” it’ll be my first project I’ll release with a predominant amount of my own production, which means that it’ll have a very artistic and personalized sound from lyrics to the instrumentals.
In honesty my musical journey hasn’t been the easiest and has had it’s ups and certainly it’s downs, but I know that, that’s all apart of the journey and the constant battle of self belief but through consistent work and recognization from others I’ve been able to keep pushing forward.
I want the world to know that I did my best to give them me through my lyrics through my instrumentals and through my passion for music I would hope that my vulnerability, confidence and my honesty shines through when ever someone presses play on my music.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would visit museums in the area first I’m a huge art lover and one of favorites is the “Norton Simon” there are legendary art pieces featured in the museum and I think everyone should experience the Norton.
I’d also hit my favorite spots for food, I love local places in Pasadena, CA places like Connals, Lucky Boys, Louisiana Fried Chicken, Perry’s Joint just to name a few of my favorite spots.
Then I’d drive out to Malibu to allow my friend to experience the beautiful beach vibes in Southern California a place where I’ve done a solid amount of meditation and also some song writing.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A huge shoutout is definitely due to my mom she never ceases to encourage me to keep pushing and to never close doors on myself! Also shoutout to my good people over at ANYDAYNOW, and my close friend group who also support me and my efforts and also continue to push me to challenge myself creatively.
