We had the good fortune of connecting with Brett Rogers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brett, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
I have learned that there’s always more that can be accomplished, and delaying tasks has an unfortunate snowball effect. Conversely, when we’re focused and staying organized, things often have a way of working out better than expected. Make sure you have a good pulse on everything that needs to get done and when, then tackle that list every day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a car enthusiast, I have always loved learning about and practicing new detailing techniques and technologies. My first car was a red MKV Volkswagen GTI. At 16 my friends weren’t quite as gentle around it as I was, I distinctly recall one of my friends leaning a dirt bike against it! But by the time I was graduating high school, I was teaching myself to use a rotary polisher to correct all the damage. Post college, I decided to pursue a more traditional path as a financial advisor but a decade later, picked up and moved to LA to finally chase my passion of working on cars.

I had learned about dry ice detailing a while back, and saw a gap in the LA market for certain cars and motorcycles. So after a few years of mobile detailing, I poured most of my savings into opening a fixed based facility designed to offer a multitude of services, including dry ice cleaning, along with paint corrections, ceramic coating and PPF installations. I wanted to be able to offer something that is both familiar and uniquely useful.

Top Condition Detailing has a very methodical approach to our work and we take great pride in it. We have extremely high standards and put a lot of pressure on ourselves to deliver quality results. We also go out of our way to deliver meaningful value to our clients by going above what’s expected on each project. This has been a major contributing factor to our growing success so far.

Besides commitment to quality, I think authenticity also drives our success and I pour a lot of myself into the business. That has always established a lot of trust with our clients as they hand over the keys to their cars or bikes.
