We had the good fortune of connecting with Brett Truett and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brett, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted to find a way to integrate our creative work into our family time so we decided to make our family a band so we could spend time with our son and create together. The whole thing just snowballed from there.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are a family band in the midst of writing original music for a new web series inspired by our time in quarantine during the pandemic.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Hollywood is our favorite place to visit in the city so we would definitely make a trip there.. We love the old movie theaters like El Capitan and The Eqyptian and we love the live music club scene at places like Molly Malones. We’d also have to make a few trips to the beach. We’d have to hit the Santa Monica pier and Venice for their unique cultures and Zuma for the natural beauty and a chance to see some dolphins in the wild.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our parents influenced us significantly because they helped us see the value of family and marriage, and of course, all the rock stars that made us fall in love with music.
