Meet Bridget Callahan | Entrepreneur, Founder of Two Twins & Event Coordinator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridget Callahan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bridget, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I have always been an artist. I was a theater kid in high school and was always taking extra art classes. I started college at The Hartt School for Acting and later transferred to Loyola Marymount University for Acting as well. Theater and screen acting have always been huge passions of mine. When I moved to LA I knew I wanted to get involved in the artist community here. I quickly started an artist networking club at LMU called The Outlet and shortly after came up with the idea for Two Twins. I planned a ton of events like concerts, poetry slams, clothing swaps and fundraisers for the Outlet which helped me discover a new passion for event planning. I had started Two Twins to sell my own clothes and my upcycled pieces but I was able to use my new passion for event planning to bring the artist community together in LA. Community is easy to find in artists; you just have to put yourself out there. Art and creativity is community and that’s why I will always pursue a career in the Arts.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Two Twins Vintage started with just me in my garage, selling my old clothes. At the time, I was working at another vintage store, and my boss would take me to flea markets to help sell her stock. She let me bring a small rack of my own pieces, and that’s where I got my first real taste of running a vintage business.
I’ve always loved bringing people together—back in college, I used to throw concerts in my backyard. Over time, I realized I was more passionate about organizing the events and curating the lineup than the concerts themselves. After graduating and moving deeper into LA (without a backyard to host in), I had to get creative. Instead of a concert I decided to plan Art Shows. I found a venue, put out an application, and was shocked when nearly 100 artists applied for my first art show last October. Fast forward to my third show that I am currently planning, and I’ve now received over 375 applications. This show will be hosted on March 21st at Joliet Cafe and Speakeasy in Playa Vista.
What excites me most about Two Twins isn’t just the clothing or the events—it’s the community. I love working with my creative friends, whether it’s collaborating on photoshoots, graphics for the brand or bringing artists and vendors together at my events. At the same time, I’ve met so many incredible people along the way who inspire me to keep pushing forward.
That said, getting here hasn’t been easy. I’m only 22, which means there’s still a lot of growing to do—but that’s a good thing. I’ve worked with so many different people, made (and learned from) simple mistakes, found mentors I can’t believe I get to learn from, tried new things, failed at things, succeeded at things—the whole journey has been a learning experience. And honestly, my biggest obstacle has always been myself. When I can get out of my own head and focus on what feels the most me, that’s when I see the most success.
What I want people to know about Two Twins is that it’s all about community and self-expression. It’s easy to include people, it’s easy to create spaces where others feel seen and inspired—you just have to take the first step. Surrounding yourself with people who support you is the key to both a happy life and a successful one. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m constantly working on new ideas and focusing on what truly makes me happy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love when my friends visit. I’m from San Francisco, which isn’t too far from LA, but the two cities couldn’t feel more different. If my best friend came to stay with me for a week, the first thing I’d do is give her a full tour of my apartment. I’m obsessed with interior design, and since thrifting is my thing, almost everything in my space is thrifted or gifted. As a curator, I’ve collected some pretty special art and furniture pieces, many from my insanely talented friends—so naturally, I’d have to show it all off.
From there, we’d head straight to the taco truck around the corner from my apartment, some of my favorite Al Pastor in LA. (Shoutout to them.) A few other must-hit food spots: OSPI and Prince Street Pizza in Venice, Sweet Fish in Playa Vista, Ali’i’s Hawaiian Grill in El Segundo, and of course, Bay Cities Deli in Santa Monica for a Godmother sandwich. Yes, I’m a Westside girl—no shade to the Eastside.
I’d take her sea glass hunting at some of my favorite secret beaches and catch a sunset at Sunken City in San Pedro, which is such a cool hidden gem. Some of the most exciting people in LA are my own friends, so I’d definitely plan some time for friend-blending—introducing her to all the creative, fun, and inspiring people in my circle.
One night, I’d host a dinner party at my place, cook something fun, and have games and Golden State Ciders (because those rock). And of course, we’d do some thrifting. I can’t give away all my spots, but a few of my favorites are Little Shop in Malibu, the Goodwill on La Tijera, and Gotta Have It in Venice.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family. Growing up I was always encouraged to be myself and run with my wildest ideas. I truly believe because I have such supportive parents I am able to trust myself and believe in myself fully as they do. Growing up with three siblings does help too because they are a natural cheer squad. They are always hyping me up. Their pride is motivating to me. Some are artists themselves too, so hopefully I can be their cheer squad too and inspire them to create. The name Two Twins is an ode to my siblings. I have an older sister, then there’s me so thats the “Two” as in two sisters and our younger brothers are twins so thats the “Twins” and the four of us together is “Two Twins”. They all deserve quite a bit of credit for my story.
