We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridget Papino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bridget, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I first started, I was doing it because I loved helping individuals dive deeper into their career, and put the word out about their music, business or brand.

I never realized how much of what I was doing was truly a business until I was discussing what I was doing with others. In my case it was more intuitive that if I gave what I was doing more structure, this could replace my job.

Quickly I dove into research. I tried to learn as much as I can even though being one person, it seemed like a lot. With patience and time, I worked on the backend of my business to ensure it can succeed as a business, meanwhile balancing my passion.

What should our readers know about your business?
We Are Jersey is set apart from other businesses because we are built off of strong relationships that unite niches and talents across the board. We focus on pushing upcoming creatives and businesses that are destined to make amazing things happen locally and beyond.

We got to our current position today by striving for the bigger picture. By bringing people together, not only does it feel good, but it helps cultivate further life long relationships while allowing individuals who may have never connected before, to create art or collaborate in fascinating ways.

It was not easy, at all. Every mistake though is a lesson learned that you can overcome with ease the next time around. This can be applied to all things such as trust, time management, consistency, and even patience. Life is forever changing, growing and every bump isn’t the end of the world. The beautiful thing about life is you can start every day fresh and brand new, it is up to you to make something of it.

I would want individuals to know that no matter what, there is room for you and your business, brand, music or story. Keep moving positively from your heart, and your dreams will come towards you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had to show my best friend the area, I would start at the Englewood Boat Basin, which is for me my spot of peace. It has a beautiful view of New York from across the water. You can also see the George Washington Bridge from the connecting parks. It is perfect in the morning and during sunrise.

We would visit Casual Habana in Hackensack, NJ for delicious and authentic lunch.

For our after hangout would be at Lambert Castle, where you can see over a good amount of the state of New Jersey. It was always fun trying to guess what area we see is what town/city. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate a special thank you to everyone I have came across on my journey, here or not, you helped me grow. I also want to thank my team, every individual contributed and has a piece in my heart for helping bring the bigger picture to life.
