We had the good fortune of connecting with Brit June and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brit, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Being in a singular role at a company is super limiting for me personally, as I enjoy being able to flow between projects depending on my mood. I unfortunately had a number of experiences working for other people that left me feeling defeated and restricted – having the freedom to exercise my creativity and skillset was always limited so having ownership creates ample opportunity to keep things lively.

What should our readers know about your business?
Most people don’t realize how powerful they are, so we created tools that would help them discover their magic, strength and intuition. Threads of Fate offers an assortment of gender neutral divination tools, specifically Oracle and Tarot decks amongst a few other products. We have been really lucky for the most part, as our struggles have been mistakes that we have made rather than big external events – we have an ongoing joke that it wouldn’t be a Threads of Fate production unless we f*cked something up (which we always do). But with our wild sense of humor, a strong ability to adapt accompanied with continuous laughter makes the journey incredibly fulfilling.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Massive shoutout to my BFF and business partner Blaire Porter, who I like to call the “old ball and chain.”
