We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Tran and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Good Hause began with a dream to uplift and innovate through human connection. We all thrive when we rise together. I wanted to build an agency focused on creating meaningful experiences for brands to take flight.
Our agency offers branding and design as well as digital marketing services like paid ads and social media management. We provide our clients with consulting, campaign planning, content creation, and strategy to launch and scale their creative processes.
My biggest achievement has been turning Good Hause from a dream into a reality. It has been a wild ride, so wild that sometimes I forget I am pursuing my passion. Starting this agency has helped me become more empowered — and with that, I empower others. It has been so uplifting to receive feedback from our clients, helping them foster important conversations with followers and even with each other. I am so lucky to represent Good Hause in various spaces and among leaders from across the globe.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the founder and lead strategist at Good Hause, a brand and digital marketing agency based in Los Angeles. our team serves women and minority business owners across a number of sectors, including food, tech, and wellness.
At Good Hause, we harness our collective expertise as an agency to accelerate creative growth for businesses. We help grow brands while clients focus on results. Our goal is to go beyond the capabilities of an experienced marketing director for the fraction of the cost and time of onboarding a new team member. We look to embed ourselves into our clients’ teams and propel them towards realizing their vision.
Our agency offers services such as brand identity, paid ads, and social media management. We provide our clients with consulting, campaign planning, content creation, and strategy.
We serve entrepreneurs and businesses wanting to elevate their idea into something impactful. We get to know who we work with and grow to believe in their vision, so their success is our success. Our ideal clients are those who believe in taking creative risks, social change, and well-being for everyone.
The most challenging thing about running a business is trusting that this is where I am supposed to be. It can feel overwhelming and isolating at times; impostor syndrome can kick in. It has also been a challenge to find a balance between my work and my home. It is important to remind myself that the goal is always to lead with heart, agility, and confidence no matter what our agency is facing.
One of our biggest challenges has been the 2020’s drastic Covid changes, we have pivoted to a one-hundred percent remote working environment.
At an agency, every day looks a bit different than the last. Even with working remotely, the team maintains constant communication with project management tools such as Slack and Notion. We sit together on calls to strategize and build content for current and future clients. As a lead strategist, I also spend part of my day building rapport with fellow entrepreneurs and discussing how we can collaborate.
As we move forward, I aim to strengthen Good Hause’s community presence. I envision us bringing forward-thinkers together to build a network for merging ideas and creating positive change. I believe the future holds a lot of potential for our agency. I want to continue working with industry disruptors and expanding to offer more services that will benefit our clients. The goal is to offer a full ecosystem of growth to businesses desiring to elevate. We want to not only keep up with what is in the market, but we also want to innovate upon what is being done and therefore, build a bridge between our clients and audiences.
As an agency, we will continue to shine our spotlight on those doing powerful work within our personal and client networks. Good Hause will always celebrate the accomplishments of women and minority leaders. The big dream is to educate and give back to the collective community. I hope to contribute in ways beyond our services, create spaces for people to feel supported in all their aspirations. I want to bring together conversations that elevate emotional, economical, and social impact, inviting people to events and providing them with information that will motivate them to work towards their dreams.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite thing to do in the city is spending a bright and warm sunny day at the park. A chic Parisian-inspired blanket, a bottle of natural wine, and some delicious healthy takeout from a neighborhood deli. My go-to spot as of late is Silver Lake Meadows with wine and food from Botanica Restaurant and Market on Silver Lake blvd. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
