We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittni Dixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittni, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
There is no greater feeling than seeing my vision come to life. I always knew that I wanted to work for myself and establish my own brand. I have always been a person who has big dreams and goals so making the decision to start a business was an easy one to make. Before Starting my brand Bobbie Miche I did extensive research on the beauty industry and what it would take to launch my brand from the ground up. My parents taught me early on the importance of ownership and entrepreneurship. When I decided to start my own business I knew that it would take determination, dedication, hard work, patience, self discipline, and consistency. Most importantly I believe in myself and I have faith that anything I do will be successful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Over the years I have learned to truly embrace my own natural beauty and uniqueness. There is only one me and that is what makes me so special. I want everyone to feel confident, bold, and one of a kind. Whatever you want, attract it with confidence. Confidence is how I have gotten to this point in life, and no it hasn’t always been easy. Time and time again I have heard no and I created the yes I wanted to hear when I launched my own business. The biggest lesson I have learned is to just simply keep going.

I am so excited about the launch of my brand Bobbie Miche. Bobbie Miche, is inspired by my grandmother Bobbie Sue who has had a huge impact on my life. She is the blueprint. I have always been inspired by my grandmothers sophisticated glamour and style. The bobbie Miche Brand features luxury fragrances and beauty products designed for the all natural woman. Bobbie Miche embodies confidence, self love and natural beauty. Bobbie Miche Fragrance oils are made in Morocco, packaged in 10ml glass roll-on bottles and are 100% cruelty free. Bobbie Miche Fragrance oils are made with all natural ingredients including Casablanca lilies, wild dahlia’s, and 24k gold which contains healing properties. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles is a great city first and foremost and I am a bit bias since I am from Southern California. There are a few gems in the city. First I would definitely go to the beach. The beach is always the perfect place to relax and have fun, I personally love Manhattan Beach, and Malibu. I would definitely check out B.E.D. Productions Studio located in Downtown Los Angeles, Cuban Leaf Cigar Lounge located in Inglewood for those who like cigars. Lastly I would go to Poppy + Rose Los Angeles also located in Downtown L.A. This casual cafe is known for their Chicken & Waffles.’

Headed by Brittni M. Dixon, and Emmanuel J. Davis, B.E.D.’s mission is to bring forth content and provide avenues of opportunity for talented creatives. B.E.D. Productions aims to produce ambitious high-quality projects highlighting various views and cultures through music, television, and film. B.E.D. Productions is currently developing a slate of projects featuring scripted, and non scripted television shows, films, and podcasts.

Brittni, and Emmanuel, met in 2017 while working at another production company where Brittni was the Head of Content, and Emmanuel was the Director of Development,. They had the opportunity to work on projects like” Sprinter” now on Netflix and ” Hold On” currently in select theaters . Brittni and Emmanuel had an instant connection and buiit the partnership known as B.E.D. Productions today.

B.E.D. Productions specializes in podcast production and social media content, which has allowed them to make a name for themselves and open their own production studio in October, 2019.

Over its short tenure, B.E.D. Productions has formed a project-by-project partnership with Live 1 Vida Entertainment, headed by Isabel Celeste Dawson who is also an advisor to the company.

B.E.D. Productions will combine traditional, as well as new media channels to most effectively distribute content. In a time where television and film is changing B.E.D. Productions are taking advantage of all platforms and creating opportunities for themselves.
